Our Story

Every business has a beginning. Ours began when our founder saw the need to assist business owners with their marketing and communications. Few had the time or skill set to properly promote their businesses. Sure, they were smart, talented, hard-working and had great concepts. But how would people know about them if marketing was not their strength?

With over 12 years of experience in marketing, branding and corporate communications, our founder has worked with numerous enterprises within the non-profit, mega-ministry, consumer goods, retail, telecommunications, real estate, publishing and entertainment industries. Chanelle prides herself on her creative knack coupled with business acumen which has allowed her to successfully manage client projects from conception to delivery.

BrightGirl Media’s goal is to ensure that its clients receive the highest quality service, strongest media presence and the greatest return on their marketing investment.

Our Approach

Our Approach

Most people are either creative or technical - few are both. We are able to lend our creative flair to those who are more left brained and help those who are creative grasp the strength of technology. Both are necessary in today's business climate to position enterprises in the digital world.

We work with our clients - whom we affectionately consider our friends - to tell their stories and position them firmly in front of the right people at the right time.

Chanelle Yarber

Founder and Chief Media Maven

Chanelle describes herself as a predictably unpredictable, smart and witty girl who loves entrepreneurship, serving others and bursting into uncontrollable fits of laughter. On any given day, you can catch her behind a computer screen crafting a campaign, fielding 1,000 emails or thinking of her next power move.

Her StrengthsFinder assessment says her strong suits are: strategic, significance, futuristic, belief, activator. They nailed her. She is thoughtful and optimistic, thrives on knowing she's made a difference, and is a doer. Just don't ask her to do a complicated math problem, go to a spin class or watch a scary movie - she'll look at you sideways.
